I think what we have her is a person who was looking to be offended, what dolt does not know about the intimate pat downs, if she was so concerned about being touched, she would have never have been there.

The way these things workis; in the begining the person is acting a bit... and then the emotions take over and they start to believe their own skit.

The only exposure to a full body scan I ever had was at Pearson in Toronto. The line for the pat-down was long and there was no demand for the body scanner. I was thirsty and wanted to grab a couple pints before hopping on my flight. So I went to the scanner instead of being padded down. It's all silly ####### - feel good nonsense that apparently -and generally speaking - makes people feel better when flying. There's never been anything but the good old metal scanner that I went through either here in Tampa, in Orlando, any of the NYC airports, Frankfurt, Berlin, you name it. They supposedly have full body scanners at TPA but I've never even seen them. TSA staff here in FL is quite friendly. NYC - not so much.

PS the TSA agent asking the idiot running the camera to stop filming could easily have been asking for the freaked out ladies interest. Or perhaps it is not a great idea, except for use in terrorist training camps, to film security checkpoint operations.

Indeed. So if the TSA was as bad as you freak on about, there should be a significant portion of this community that would have horrible stories of being gestapo'd.

FWIW, I've questioned TSA (POLITELY- maybe there's something to be said for being polite) and I've been directed to the appropriate regulations by (in turn polite) staff.

Maybe its something you guys should check out in your crusade to not have your insecurities exposed.

It wasn't like she had a cavity search.

And filming these sort of things only exasperates the situation. I realize this person filming was her son, but at the end of the day, every person with a camera phone reckons (s)he is Giraldo Rivera now. What did this video prove? That his mother was previously molested, and she obviously still has issues dealing with that.

Shame on him for airing it.

Its the attitude that claims its about 'looking' for something that is what is, Anita. Much like the douche-bags that blame the victims of rape by their clothing instead of the conduct of the rapist.
