Indeed. So if the TSA was as bad as you freak on about, there should be a significant portion of this community that would have horrible stories of being gestapo'd.

FWIW, I've questioned TSA (POLITELY- maybe there's something to be said for being polite) and I've been directed to the appropriate regulations by (in turn polite) staff.

Maybe its something you guys should check out in your crusade to not have your insecurities exposed.

FWIW I've never had positive results from being POLITE to TSA. And I have tried many times. I tend to share Paul's dislike for them, although I would not call them Nazis. I am yet to be gassed. If anything, I gas them a little on my way out of the security checkpoint, if you know what I mean.

Oh I've done that too. Its not like I'm generalizing like Paul or anything. I've had less than friendly run-through experiences with them as well as with what used to be regular airport security... but I guess the bottom line is you should be polite to people that probably have to deal with X number of douchebags going through security day in, day out.

Honestly, there is no fuss, I tend to pick travel times where traveler load is low, and I smile when on camera.

Without having seen what freaked this woman out to begin with, I'm a little skeptical that anything could have been done so bad to her to warrant such a reaction.

I've traveled quite a bit and never had a problem with them. Funnily enough, the worst issue I had was boarding a cruise line, and that's wasn't 'bad' other than they made me take off lots of stuff (shoes, belt, earrings, etc) and they were a bit snippy about it.

But other than that, I can't complain.

Without knowing what was the actual reason and what happened I would not just put all the blame on TSA.

Their only problem is they are dumb, poorly trained agency that is disconnected from reality.

I think I can say that when I fly atleast twice every week .

I can also tell this even today ppl will try to carry the big bottles of shampoo and conditioner in their carry on bag and then try to argue and fight with TSA agents for that.

I have seen ppl walk thru metal detector with all jewelry on them and then complain and grouch about being pulled over for the pat down.

It seems like this woman was supposedly molested in the past, and was very aware of being touched.

While my heart goes out to her, if that's the reason...she needs to seek help for putting the past in the past, instead of officers to arrest TSA agents for molestation.
