I-751 June 2011 Filers

Hello Everyone. For those VCS filers who already got approved.. Did you get a mail or electronic announcements? If you got mail, was it mailed from the local office or VSC? Also for those who got RFE's, how far after filing you got them?

hello everyone. I m also one of those lurkers for a while and I m happy to inform you that today i got my approval letter!! My receipt date was 06/10/2011 , NOA 06/24/2011 and bio date 07/22/2011. My approval came with decision date 02/10/2012. I filled in VSC but the approval came with signature from USCIS office in Baltimore. I didnt get email or text even though i had signed up for it and the site still says initial review. So..its safe to say that mail is the first to come in most cases.

I want to thank you all for helping me all this time even though i never wrote in here, your posts gave me courage and strength for patience. I m wishing everyone will be approved soon and live a happy life in this great country! You guys are a bunch of awesome people and this thread is a blessing.

Congratulations :dance: and thanks for your info about the Approval letter with no TXT or e-mail from USCIS website, this site will turn me crazy.

can I ask you how the Approval letter look like, Is it official like the NOC notice , or just a regular white paper letter?

It looked exactly like the other ones. I didnt even notice it was from Baltimore until someone ask that in here. Same paper same envelope. Good luck everyone.

I think it is good news to know that many of the letters are coming from the local offices; that suggests that Vermont is probably sending some applications to the local offices to reduce their workload, and make things go faster.

For those of you who have been approved and those who are going to be approved in the next few days, pls include where the approval letter is coming from, so that we have a better idea on the situation of things. Thanks

@greco, thanks for sharing the information with us... Regarding responses coming from local office, I dont think it is a good thing from the time prospective... this means that VCS is loaded with applications and that on top of that, there was the time to transport those bulky, secure docs from one office to the other... but hey, who knows... Hopefully good news to all you folks...

My letter was from my local office as well (Indianapolis), but that was in December and I was a CSC filer, so I don't think that local offices sending out letters for VSC cases really means much.

Hello, I got my approval letter in a mail from St. Alban, VSC. I never got an email or txt from them even tho I signed up for it but today I received 3 emails at the same time from USCIS letting me know that they ordered my new greencard on Feb 13rd and it had already been mailed to me yesterday; Feb15th. Also my status on USCIS website was updated today to be approved, yesterday was "Initial Review". It took us 245 days total since we filed I-751.

What an awesome start for my weekend! I just got my approval letter. I had moved at the beginning of my application and had changed my address with all the forms online and by mail( my husband did the same) but apparently it was never changed because my approval letter came to my old address. Fortunately, my mail was forwarded to my current address and I got the letter. I just got off the phone with an immigration representative, changed my address again and they confirmed they will be sending my card to my current address! I can now rest and fully enjoy my weekend! Good luck to those still waiting! Your turn will come very soon!
