My decision date was January 25th 2012. USCIS Got my mail on June 17th 2011 then on June 28th they mailed out my Receipt Notice and on July 11th I had my Biometrics,My letter from my local Texas office said the decision date is January 25th 2012.Hope this helps.

Hello Every one, I called the USCIS yesterday, after all I made a request, and they gave me a request number and they said ill be hearing from them within 15 days.

My decision date was January 25th 2012. I have called and gone on USCIS website and my info remained the same under review, and on the helpline for case status even there things has not been updated so may be there is a chance that the date they are telling every one April 4th is also not updated.Hope this helps others waiting.Again my letter came from my local Texas office.

How odd that your letter was from your local office. Mine was postmarked in Vermont.

I am so glad for the two people who have already received their wonderful notifications! I am still waiting for mine, but these news make me think that mine is coming soon. I have a concern, that if any of you can give a some advice I would really appreciate it.

I am still waiting for my GC, my old GC is already expired, and I was invited to travel to Honduras in March. I have the NOA with me and I am taking my old green card as well, but will this be enough? I don't want to risk anything. The NOA says that it is valid for 1 year, and as you know, since we filed in June it will almost be one year.

Am I risking it? Let me know if you have any experience with traveling with the NOA close to the expiration date.

The letter extends your status for 1 year past the date of expiry on your card, rather than one year past the date on the letter. So as long as you return to the U.S. prior to one year from your card's expiry date, you should be fine. I'd recommend making sure someone is keeping an eye on your mail though, in case you get an RFE or called for an interview or something while you're away. Have a good trip!

USCIS Got my mail on June 17th 2011 then on June 28th they mailed out my Receipt Notice and on July 11th I had my Biometrics,My letter from my local Texas office said the decision date is January 25th 2012.Hope this helps.

Still no Green card or update on USCIS site since my approval which is dated January 25th 2012.So I called USCIS, the agent said he could not find any information on my case saying it was approved on his system he had to transfer me to another higher level person, after she asked me a few questions,like my name, address , zip code etc she said your approval date was January 25th.I asked when will my card be mailed, since my case was not updated on their system and that my letter was postmarked from Vermont but the approval notice has Texas office stamped, which office should I expect my card from she said Vermont. Then I said I was a bit worried , and I explained that I don't want to be left hanging she said the system might fail by not been updated but not the employees if I don't get my card with in 30 days then call back.

Gongrats everybody who get approval already . After I done my bio on 7/25/2011 , I haven't receive anything from Vermont , and nothing updated on the website too . I m thinking maybe I should call . But a lot people apply at Vermont haven't get decision yet , I never got any Rfe or anything , I'm scared now . And that 1 year extension letter gonna expire soon , if it's expired and I haven't get a decision yet , what shall I do ? And am I still legal ?
