I feel your fustrations all,,,,i do know that as long as you have not received a RFE there is nothing to worry about.I know how badly you want to hold that card in your hands,but as long as you have your loved ones,the wait will not be as painful .You will all be approved soon.

And BIG CONGRATS to all the approved cases from CSC.

Ok so on Monday my lawyer called me and told me that she received a RFE for me but me personally I didn't receive it in the mail and the case online still saying Initial review. So she emailed me a copy it's very basic all what they need from us is an update of bank statement W2 taxes and utilities. So nothing really bad.

Yea I did send them everything they asked for but they want an update ones. But like I said they asked for an update on my house lease, when I sent them the tax return for 2009 I didnt send my W2 so they asked for it, they asked for utilities bills and my bank statement for 2012 (update one ) I got everything ready and I did 4 affidavit from neighbors and friends and next week I'm sending it

My online case status shows initial review. Out of interest I called on Dec 29 and got the usual we are processing April 4 applications and I will be another 50+ days

So there is hope

My case is fairly straight forward.

Thanks folks for sharing your thoughts and information. I am aware that they do not mean it, it just made me laugh and thought to share it. I understood that no one will be able to file a SR unless their file date is before what they are processing, so my understanding on that is they are trying to stop SR. Just a thought. @mimo1985, thanks for the information. Good to know.

See, my biggest fear right now is an RFE that got lost in the mail or something. Since the website never seems to update your status after receiving the package, and the phone calls seem to be a stock answer, there is no way to feel secure.

Starting to wear pretty thin. Thinking about bringing a lawyer into it.

Dave_n_geanna: RFE isn't a big problem it's just the thought that u have to get papers together and waste time to get ur card. I've read that most people who got RFE including whatever me personaly i got is just basic stuff that they already submitted but just an updated ones. Once they receive it I don't think after that, it will take longer for the card to arrive (pray to God)

Its just a bit scary that if you miss it for lost mail or whatever reasons, there is no way to know.

Try not to stress about it too much. Your extension letter is good for a year. You still have plenty of time. My wife just received her card over the Christmas break. Our case status still showed "initial Review" up until the moment we received the txt that she had been approved, after which it immediately updated to say the card was in production.

It just takes time.

Hi everyone, it's been a while since I last updated but my green card got approved last Nov. 1, 2011. No interview nor biometric because we filed from overseas on military orders. However, we did get and RFE sometime in Aug 2011 for a very weird reason - hubby actually forgot to sign our 1-751! Other than that, it was all good. Best of luck to everyone else still waiting!

I'm a long time follower of this thread and just signed up to let everyone know that my case status just today changed to Card/ Document Production. So it seems stuff is moving again at the CSC.

Yes, I filed at CSC

sent date was 6/8/11

noa1 date was 6/13/11

Those dates are from memory.. they might be a few days off.. I'll correct them if needed when I get home.
