My lawyer spoke to USCIS today, because it's been 7 months since they received it,and they have posted that 6 months is the processing time, so they told her the 6 months isn't an accurate time because CSC are backed up with all kind of files, so in other words they told her we have to wait nothing looks bad in my case so i guess we have to wait :(

thanks for sharing and good luck!

Hi Everyone,

I'm a long time follower of this thread and just signed up to let everyone know that my case status just today changed to Card/ Document Production. So it seems stuff is moving again at the CSC.

I also called the USCIS and got the same answer as everyone else. Guy said it was slow going there and that they were on May 17th at the moment. He told me to give it another month before calling back.

He did re-assure me that nothing was wrong with our case. I was starting to get worried that the biometrics had never arrived, or that we had missed an RFE.

how funny everybody called USCIS today, i did call them today too (yesterday my lawyer did and tody i did) and i got the same answer, they transferred me to an officer she was very nice, she told me that theyre working on May 16th still and theres no need to be worry about anything and that somebody should be working on my case anytime now... plus she said if i dont hear anything to call back after 30 days.

Yea...Indeed

but what's confusing me is that they're not working based on the date they received the applications cause some approvals for each month its not like they're going by dates or receipts number....

not sure where you got the idea that ROC (or much of anything with USCIS) is first come, first served. it has more to do with WHO is processing your case (which adjudicator) and WHICH local office you did biometrics at.

Well, everyone has been silent lately, and i probably know why. I called USCIS yesterday regarding my case. Before i tell you what they told me yesterday, let me tell you what they told me 2 months ago when I first called. They had said that VSC was still processing April 4th applications. Guess what they told me yesterday, THE SAME. Before the guy could tell me the date I kindly interrupted him and told him "please dont say April 4" and he said that is the date. I told him that I had called almost 2 months ago and heard the same thing. He continued with the automated answers. I just thought to share this. Good Luck everyone. Looks like we are on for a long ride.

Is it also realted to WHICH local office we did our biometrics? Why? I thought it is decided by the officers in Vermont center rather than the local USCIS offices.

I-751 Application (VSC)

11/07/2011 sent out I-751 application package

11/09/2011 Receipts from USCIS

11/15/2011 notice for biometrics

12/07/2011 Biometrics appointment

08/01/2012 Received RFE

08/08/2012 Responed to RFE

09/20/2012 Approved!!!
