Here is my update: NOA1 date was 6/24 and biometrics was 7/13. Anyone know what percentage must do an interview and how long it takes for approval?

Updating ErikaAndHamit :) When is the Receipt Date on your NOA letter? You need that date for the list ;)

I'd say interview percentage is like 5%. Since you are CSC filer, you'll get approved in 3 to 5 months?

Please remove us from the list. Turns out we filed 9 days too early so they returned our entire package to us. I told my husband it was too early but he insisted that since he got the letter he was to send right away! Ugh MEN!! Anyways, turned out to be a good thing in the long run because hubby lost a job bid that he was certain he had and he ended up needing the $600 that he had originally sent with the packet. My guess is now we won't file until after our mini vacation the first week of August.

I was looking at your timeline.. damn they're quick in CA.. It's been 3 weeks since i got the NOA and still no BIO letter in the mail.. I'm getting a little worried..

I know it can take up to 1 month before they even mail it out, but looking at other timelines in the VSC tab, users who sent out the package after we did got already their BIO appointment..

Just wondering how they pick who is gonna go now or next...

I got my bio done today a day earlier as a walk-in, as I am going to be really busy at work tomorrow when my original appointment was. I went at noon and there were only 5-6 people before me, but it still took an hour. After me, a whole crowd of people arrived though, so they must have waited even longer...

By the way, I am unable to update the chart myself - the formatting looks totally messed up when I try to do it! Thanks in advance to whoever taked the time to update it for me!

Ah Whidbey, I wish you guys luck whenever you end up filing. We filed about 2 weeks later than we intended because we were on vacation in Vancouver (watching my precious Canucks LOSE the friggin Stanley Cup Final to friggin SomberCat's son's friggin Bruins frig. No bitterness or anything, right? :) ) So um... perhaps look at the silver lining in that you'll still probably end up with approval earlier than me (thanks Vermont!), and you get a mini-vacation out of it, too! So it's not all bad.

I'd say interview percentage is like 5%. Since you are CSC filer, you'll get approved in 3 to 5 months?

morning guys am going to my biometric next week , does anyone know how long does it take to get approved , and if there any RFE does they request after the biometric or before it am all exiting and worried too dunno why but just wanna know if theres anyone have an idea about how the whole deal goes thank you and its FRIDAY YAYYYYYY

What is the point of an "early bio"?

The point is, as I explained, that I anticipated being quite busy at work at the time of my actual appointment, so I got it done in advance to avoid all the stress and the possibility of having to reschedule.

I think everyone can look at it differently

USCIS in their ASC letter indicates that we have to have the BIO done in order for them to process the application, hence I think (may be im wrong) the earlier the BIO the better chance for a front seat in the(waiting approval line)if everything is fine,

however, some are busy to get it done and reschedule sooner or later

so lets watch the timelines and see what we can observe from there

Its hard to predict.

CSC applicants shows approvals within 2-3 months while VSC takes longer 4-6 months

Im not really sure about the RFE though, As I mentioned in my last comment, I guess that the application is not looked at till you get your biometric and from there it waits its turn with an officer who can determine if you will be issued an RFE or no, again this is my own oservation, if someone have a different opinions, please share

give them a call and try to find out

I was looking at your timeline.. damn they're quick in CA.. It's been 3 weeks since i got the NOA and still no BIO letter in the mail.. I'm getting a little worried..

I know it can take up to 1 month before they even mail it out, but looking at other timelines in the VSC tab, users who sent out the package after we did got already their BIO appointment..

Just wondering how they pick who is gonna go now or next...
