Hi All June Filers. I hope you are all well and enjoying life in the USA.

I received my 1 year extension dated Jul 1st. Would someone please update the list as I am a bit of a computer biff.

P.s. Our daughter is due Aug 14th and I can't wait.

March 30th - received SSN

April 25th - Married

April 27th - Changed name on SSN

Aug 20th - Interview in Philly

Aug 21st - GC production ordered

Aug 24th - Welcome to the USA letter received

Aug 31st - Rec'd son's GC

Sept 2nd - Rec'd my GC ....all set for 2 years now

LIFTING CONDITIONS

June 20th sent I-751 to Vermont

June 25th received at Vermont.

June 27th NOA date

July 2nd Packet returned as section not filled in correctly---how stupid am I?!?!?

July 5th Packet sent back (overnight delivery) to USCIS with form filled in correctly

July 6th Packet received and signed for at Vermont

August 18th Biometrics Appointment in Philly........JULY 27TH EARLY BIOMETRICS DONE

Nearly 1 year later!!!
....received notification for my son to get biometrics done!(May 15th 2012)

May 11th 2012 Son's biometrics done early

June 2012 - Notice of lifting of conditions received

June 12th - texts- GC in production

June 13th - text- GC in post

June 15th - Received GC's!!!!!!

31 days have passed, I still don't get my ASC appointment. I called NCSC and they emailed me this

"The status of this service request is:

Our records indicate that your biometrics appointment is pending due to limited capacity at your local Application Support Center (ASC).  We will schedule an appointment for you when a time becomes available at the ASC and mail you an appointment notice.  We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience."

Well, I guess nothing else I can do except waiting......

Orlando immigration office must be really busy :(

Hey what number did u call bcz i sent the papers on the first june and i got my noa1 on the 15th but since then i have not got anything. abby n sheryl

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

Still no bio appointment letter for us... and our case is still not found online on uscis.gov either so there is no way I could at least give a tiny bit of update on our case . :(

Hi dbears, I don't have Bio appointment yet either, I see you're from NC too, so I assume we have the same local USCIS center- Raleigh? Let me know when you get yours. I'm going to call them tomorrow and see what I can find. Goodluck to us!

Got my BIO letter today dated 7/8/11 for August 1st. good.gif

I'm going to try and walk in tomorrow (I was able to for my AOS). I'll let you know if I was able to or not.

07/17/09 - Biometrics Completed [ Completed in 17 Days ]

08/12/09 - EAD APPROVED! Card Ordered! [Approved in 47 Days]

08/20/09 - Interview notice arrived dated 08/18/09 - Sept 24th/09

08/21/09 - Got EAD Card in the mail!! :D

09/24/09 - Interview Date: 9:00am - APPROVED

10/03/09 -Received GC!!!!!

Total Days from NOA1 to Approval : 86 Days

06/27/11 - ROC Mailed!

07/02/11 - NOA1 Arrived [dated 06/30/11]

07/13/11 - Biometrics letter arrived [08/01/11]

Biometrics done today. Got there an hour early, no one there at all, went right in and was out within 10 minutes.

Never seen anyone do walk in at York (PA) ASC but with the attitude they had today, I don't think walk in would be a problem, no questioned asked about arriving early, they looked bored really. It was an hour drive for us so walk in wasn't worth the risk.

Here is my update: NOA1 date was 6/24 and biometrics was 7/13. Anyone know what percentage must do an interview and how long it takes for approval?

Please remove us from the list. Turns out we filed 9 days too early so they returned our entire package to us. I told my husband it was too early but he insisted that since he got the letter he was to send right away! Ugh MEN!! Anyways, turned out to be a good thing in the long run because hubby lost a job bid that he was certain he had and he ended up needing the $600 that he had originally sent with the packet. My guess is now we won't file until after our mini vacation the first week of August.
