How wonderful!! I sent my packet on the 22nd with USPS certified mail, thinking I'm in no hurry (which I'm not).

Well, their site didn't update any tracking info about my package, it just says that my package was accepted at the departure point...So, that could very well mean that it never left my post office. :rofl:

I have had a similar experience. I posted it on Monday and have been checking all week to see if it had been received, which it hadnt. Then, thank goodness, it was finally signed for today. So dont worry, it is just taking its time in my experience if you dont 'overnight' it. Good luck.

Hi Everyone,

We are about to send off our packet this week and I just want to make sure we have basically everything we need:

• Completed 1-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence Form

• Copy of information pages of old passport (A######) and new passport (A#####) and front and back copy of green card for (petitioning spouce)

• Copy of both our driver’s licenses showing same living address

• Copy of lease affidavit

• Copies of Direct TV (cable) bill and Vonage (phone) bill showing same address

• Copy of the tax return statement for 2009 and 2010

• Copy of both our health insurance cards showing a joint policy

• Copy of Health Care Transaction for (US Citizen Spouce) at (Company in which he is employed) showing (petitioning spouce)as a covered dependent

• Copy of (US Citizen Spouce)'s life insurance documents from (Company in which he is employed) showing (petitioning spouce) as the sole beneficiary

• Copy of car insurance verification of coverage showing joint insurance coverage

• Copy of the title of our car, showing joint ownership

• Copy of the registration of our car, showing joint ownership

• Copy of a cellphone bill showing family plan account with both of us on it

• Copy of a voided joint account check with both our names on it

• Copies of various months of our joint checking account

• Copies of various months of our joint savings account

• Copies of hotel reservations and shopping receipts for a trip to Atlantic City in May of 2009

• Copies of airline itinerary, hotel reservation and shopping receipts for a trip to Nassau Bahamas in October of 2009

• Copies of airline itinerary and boarding passes for a trip to Nigeria, West Africa for our traditional wedding ceremony with family members from both sides

• Copies of pictures of ourselves and our family members over various periods of time and locations

please let me know if there is anything else we can add.

P.S. we currently live with our in-laws where we have lived for the past two years, so my mother-in-law is signing the lease affidavit and that is also why we dont have utilities or rent/mortgage bills

Yes we included a copy of the front and back of my greencard...it is in the same bullet point as the information page of my old and new passport

..looks like it might have been lost in translation....
