I am applying DCF for my spouse in Italy. I am now on my second step, getting ready for our interview. I have filled out an I-864 and my parents are also joint sponsors, I sent them an I-864 to fill out and they are gathering taxes, bank accounts, etc. Somehow a I-134 ended up in my paperwork though, my joint sponsor doesn't need this, right?

No it isnt used as part of a spousal visa. You are doing this correctly. However I think the co sponsor fills out the 864 A but I think they 864 would be accepted.
