How Long does it takes to transfer the case from NVC?

Hello All,

I inquired about my CR1/IR1 case last week and they said my case was completed on August 4th 2006.

Anybody know how long does it takes to transfer this case to the MTL? any idea for appx. interview date?

Recently i checked my biographic form which were sent to NVC, i found out that my parents birthday entered wrong. and now my case is completed. How can i change that? Or can i change that at the time of interview or should i call NVC? I dont want to dealy any process now.

Your help will be appreciable.

If you talked to NVC they should have been able to tell you the interview date as they are the ones that set the date, not montreal. Phone back to NVc and ask for the date. I would assume Mtl should have ur file now, so one could send an email to them asking.

NVC schedules interiews for CR1/IR1's for Montreal on the second week of each month. You can try calling them this week. My case complete is similar to yours and I'm still waiting for some good news.

I just called NVC, the lady told me my interview date is on Oct 23. But she asked me to call again this week to make sure the correct date. Well...At least she gave me the estimate date around OCt 23.

I just called the NVC too and my interview's scheduled for Oct 24 at 9:30 AM. The operator said my husband should receive the packet soon. Kinda vague...

Nice to hear that you got your CR1/IR1 interview date so early. its really surprising that your case was completed after me and girl 37 and you got interview date before us. still i dont have any update for my interview date. But anyways best of luck for your interview and update us when you received the packet from MTL.

Wow, lots of October interview dates for Montreal! Congrats to everyone, but especially tommysgirl, who has been waiting for so long.
