Fort Worth has really reinvented itself over the past few years...I almost didn't recognize it the last time I was there. It a great city and if you don't believe it then Chuck Norris will place a roundhouse kick upside your head!

My next project is in Irving. I'll be working there for the next many months...lots of capital within lots of TX companies...they'z gonna spend it

I'm sorry.

Watch out for the hoodlums.

Oh and the illegals!

Depends on where in Irving. Las Colinas is pretty nice. Ft. Worth has it's "hoods" as well.

I don't consider Las Colinas a part of Irving.... far too nice.

Fort Worth "hoods?"

Stop 6 is no where near what it used to be many years ago and doesn't have anything anywhere near touching Oak Cliff.

I spent 3 years working for the Tarrant county govt. for their telecom back in the mid 90s, while living in Dallas. Had to go all over Tarrant county daily. Not sure about now, but back then Dallas county definitely was much nicer.

Go out Lancaster, Barry, or even N. main for that matter, It was all ######. Only place that seemed somewhat nice to me was out west near the museums etc. Recently I've been to the stockyards and sundance square which seem quite nice. That said, Dallas is doing a good job downtown and nearby as well.

A good part of Oak Cliff has been revived and is pretty nice. I go out to eat down there now and then. South Dallas still sucks. Take a drive. I should probably do the same.

Goooooo Houston! Glad we left Atlanta back in 2009 and made it to Houston! Houston on the top, ATL old town is on the bottom! But I do miss my peeps!

Yeah Houston's 2.0 is outstanding at anytime. Dallas's 2.9 is a Grand slam though. Have even been gotten offers to come off the road and work locally at a finally decent wage too.kicking.gif

Irving's mondo cool - many of the fortune 1000 have set up offices in Las Colinas area, the DFW airport is so convenient.

Thankfully, it is part of Irving. The City border is north of there, a bit.
