Now I read rules about photos. Thats there has to be able to see my ears.

There cant see my ears in this picture. Can it be problem?

The requirements are very clear on this.

Take the picture again ensuring that your ears are showing, and that your hair is not obscuring your face.

Yes take the picture again.

The guide from the State Department shows many examples where the ears are covered by the subjects hair, so that should not be a problem, just needs to be correctly placed in the picture.

Did yoiu know that ears are as unique as fingerprints? It's true, that's why the old photo style made a big deal of exposing the entirety of one ear.

Yes, I would tie hear up in a pony tail behind the head just to be safe with the picture. I too took my own picture, it saves $$$$, passport photos can be expensive, up to $10 for just 2 pictures.

To cut expenses, find a photographer that will give you the negative. You will need even more photos, as you move forward. Reprints are much cheaper than the originals.

I have a file with 4 2"x2" photos stored on computer, and a thermal photo printer, I can print them any time I need them.

My hair covers my ears in my passport photo. Had the passport over a year now.

I didn't see anything about hair covering ears in the entire guide, but it's possible that I missed something. There are several pictures where the subject's ears are completely obscured. The I-129F form says 'passport-style photo.'

Where are you guys getting the ears requirement?

The information varies, but why take chances over a couple of bucks? That would be foolish.
