OMG... I've read on the instructions to send the original I-94... I sent my package on May 23rd. Will this cause me any problem in the near future? :o

Do you at least have a copy for yourself?

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

I got a question for filing the AOS.

Do you include the original I-94 or just a copy?

Just a copy of I-94 (Front and back)

Next time you gonna need I94 is your interview. Most likely they will have the original you've sent on file. I wouldn't worry. Otherwise you can file I-102, pay $330 and get the replacement.

(59) 07/08/2011 - another update EAD card production ordered on 07/08/2011

(66) 07/12/2011 – interview letter received for Aug 15, EAD approved, letter sent out on 07/11

(68) 07/14/2011 – EAD card arrived in mail!

(100)08/15/2011 - interview – APPROVED!!!

(104)08/19/2011- Welcome notice received.

Hi! Yes, I do have a copy. I hope I wouldn't have to pay $330 for a replacement if they ever misplace it...

Thanks!! I really hope I won't have to get a replacement. That's a lot of $$ for a small piece of document. I hope the copies I made will be enough for the interview if they ever misplace the original one...
