Yes AVR stated they were sending me a packet in which had never received yet and my case is closed.

It was probably in reference to the email they sent with info on the IV package. My AVR said the same thing and I had received the email with IV info the day before.

well sent aos package saturday and now am waiting on the IV bill to show up so i can pay that..hopefully this week , operator admitted they're alittle behind in accepting ds3032 and generating the bill..once is sent off, will be so relieved this process has been a pain in the A** for me:(...going to Albania Aug 9th cant wait to be with my hubby forever!!:D

NVC definitely seems to be backlogged at the moment. There must be an influx of cases arriving there. Hopefully everything smooths over soon and they get back on track!

It depends how fast they get to your paper work. They received mine 6/27/11 and closed 7/12/11

It's about 2-3 weeks. Could be faster, could be slower. All depends on how busy NVC is. If you can send out the IV package this week, you should have a case complete by mid-August, if no RFEs.

I got another checklist email asking for the DS230 this morning, this time it was dated 7/23 so I called NVC around 8AM and the operator told me to just ignore the emails, they have the packet and allow 20 days to process. I am glad she cleared that up because the double email was a little silly.

Once your case is complete and an interview date has been assigned, NVC will send everything they received from USCIS on to your embassy/consulate. So at the time of your interview, they'll have your entire I-130 package as well as your AOS and IV packages.

But anything you didn't submit and/or anything that is recent/updated, bring that.

thanks i was hoping that was true, cause i sent them all our msn, and skype up until may, tons of pics, boarding passes, stamped passport, letters from mom, sister,etc..so i was hoping to just show pics, skype etc from rfe until interview or he would need a box...

I paid my AOS fees on Tuesday as soon as they came up, the IV fees came due on Thursday and I paid them immediately.. I go to the sate.gov site today thinking most likely the AOS fees are paid and I can mail the package.. nope! ... but the IV fees show "PAID" and it has been less than 24 hours! Go figure! I had put my effort into getting the AOS package ready thinking I would get the IV packet perfect this weekend... A bit of scrambling and two trips to staples (my printer had no ink) and the IV package is mailed! Going really fast now but I wish the AOS fees had finished processing to "PAID".. I have read they take longer to process than the IV packet at NVC.

Looking at the various threads on the NVC wait from USCIS I don't think I've seen anyone get a case number in the last couple of days...

Grats on sending out the IV package. A little weird that your IV bill processed faster than the AOS, but oh well. At least you've made some progress :)
