i am on the same boat.. my case was completed on 11th July... still no interview date...i am hoping by next week i will have the interview date... i dont think i will get August... but hoping for early septemeber...

When i called NVC in June i was told to call back second week of July. I have been getting the same messeage that still waiting. Now Last week i call and they tell me to call back the second week of August since we did not get an August interview. I guess USEM in Colombia must be backed up. :no: I guess nothing i can do but wait. :clock:

USCIS: CR-1

02/8/2011: Sent I-130 via USPS

2/18/2011: Received hardcopy of NOA1

5/18/2011: Received hardcopy of NOA2

NVC:

5/23/2011: NVC received petition.

5/25/2011: Called NVC received BGT# & Invoice#, gave emails

5/27/2011: Received email, DS-3032, AOS fee invoice

5/28/2011: Sent DS-3032 by email, Paid AOS fee online.

6/02/2011: AOS fee shows as Paid online, printed coversheet & Sent AOS to NVC, Recieved DS-3032 confirmation by email.

6/03/2011: Received IV fee bill by email

6/04/2011: Paid IV fee online

6/07/2011: IV fee bill shows as paid online

Called three times yesterday and one of the times my wife was online to hear the same thing I keep hearing that they have no more appointments for August and to call back August 17. Today the same thing with a small silp of the tongue say July so I dont whats going on with them on thier info. So I made sure that their was no appointment for August and she said yes their are no longer appoinments in August. :whistle:

Please remember, they don't just schedule during the second week. Keep calling every single day.

Update: Called last night same thing again no schedule for August and I called today same thing again that NVC was unable to schedule at the Manila Embassy for August. :angry:

We got our SIF on 19th. July but our lawyers keeps saying not to call an operator as this delays the case. Is this true ? I would like to know if our case is complete and already sent to the Embassy. We have been trying the automated system but we cannot dial the three letters at the beginning of our NVC number. How can we dial letters ? I am calling through skype . Usually if the lawyer is our choice of agent will he be receiving an e-mail saying that the case is completed from NVC or are we receiving just an e-mail indicating already the Embassy interview date ? Thanksstar_smile.gif

Grats on your SIF!

And no, calling about your case will not delay it at all. You're just calling operators that will never touch your case, so there's no way of delaying it by just calling and asking questions. I called every single day I was in NVC :)

Your case will only be sent to the embassy when an interview date has been scheduled.

You can find out if your case is complete by either talking to an operator or calling the AVR. I've never called through Skype, so I'm not sure how their keypad looks, but you have to put in the number that is associated with your letter, like on a phone. For me, MTL was 685. If you can't figure it out, just tell me your 3 letter code and I'll give you the number equivalent.

And only those doing EP get case complete emails. So your next and last email will be of your interview date.
