I am curious about police certificate. Can I apply for a Hong Kong police certificate even without the written request from the NVC?

I am still waiting for my packet, i want to apply for it if I can before the interview, do you think its possible? Can anyone help me on this one.

I'm not familiar with K-1 process at NVC but the HK police will want to see some document with the NVC case number. What stage are you at now?

If you've gotten any email correspondance from NVC with the case number and beneficiary's name that should suffice for the application.

I am still waiting for the packet from the NVC, it has been 4 weeks since it had been approved.
