Thought there must be a few of us now waiting for an interview date. How far through the process are you?

Trying to stop myself checking the timelines every five minutes to guess the wait time...

Congrats on your interview date! Your timeline seems quite promising. I know there's going to be a bit of a wait now, naturally I'm just hoping it'll be sooner rather than later! :D

It also might be of interest that once our packet three was logged there was very little time between that and getting and interview date. A couple of days at the most

A couple of days? Blimey! I figured it would be a few weeks at least. We got our NOA2 last week (but that's only from the website so far, so I'm trying to not get too paranoid that that's wrong as we're awaiting the hard copy) so are at the start of the next waiting game. It's great to see the timeframes for people in the embassy stage as we can start to think about when I might be heading over to the States.

Hi all

We just got our LND number. Our case was sent to London on May 27th. I'm going to call and book my medical today. For those of you who already had theirs, what is the medical like? What do they check, how nice are they and how long does it take? I'm always a little worried when it comes to hospitals/check-ups and stuff like that!

Mine was Friday, probably the first appointment after their lunch (12.50) - I was probably in there for about 45 minutes in total. Vaccinations nurse, straight in to x-ray, back to waiting room for 5 mins or so, then in to the doctor for height, weight, eyesight test, blood pressure, check your eyes with an opthalmoscope, listen to heart and lungs, prod the stomach area and check that you are the gender you are supposed to be, and finally blood test. All three medical people were nice.

Check that you've had two MMR jabs, normally around a month apart - I hadn't and was offered choices of 1) do at own doctor's and they'll give me a form for the doc to fill out and return 2) wait until AOS in the US or 3) pay £37 to get it done there and then - I paid the money and had it done, so that there's no delays

My medical took a lot longer than 45 minutes, was waiting around for a long time before the x-ray, and again before seeing the doctor. Didn't see the nurse as I had most of my injections done by my GP already. Still need the second MMR jab. Most of the people were okay, although I found the doctor to be a little rude.

However, i had issues with my x-ray and had to go back a second time. I had very little waiting that time, and they were very nice as I was clearly very stresed amd worried. Checked out okay in the end thankfully. So my advice is give the clinic your work or mobile number in case there are any problems and you have to go back again.
