Why it took you so long to get your baby's CRBA? I have a friend and she got hers after 10 days. I don't have problem with my papers when i interviewed last May 23. The only thing we need to get done is DNA test for my fiance and for my son. They already sent the kit today to US Embassy here and the collection of specimen for my fiance will be on friday. I'm just waiting for the Embassy/St. Lukes to contact me so I can bring my son in US Embassy. So, is it okay to submit our petition for K1 even though i haven't have his passport yet?

It took us to get my baby's CRBA and passport because we waited for a few months to order the kits because we are recovering from finances that time(lol) because we were having a lot of vacations that time. I did not wait embassy/slec to contact me that time, instead I keep contacting them and later found out that the embassy gave a wrong contact number to slec and that's the other reason why I got the crba and passport delayed too. So, when I called slec, they gave me the specimen collection appointment date but I requested them to have it done on the date I want and that's another reason of the delayed process.

Yes it is okay to submit your I-129F petition to USCIS now since the average time to get an approval for it is like 5-7 months anyway. I was just lucky that the petition for me was approved really quick.

Hi guys! Is it also needed to have my dual citizen baby get registered at CFO? She has both US passport and Philippine passport. If so, what other documents should I bring during the registration process since she has a US passport and not a visa on her Philippine passport?

And by the way, I cannot find the GUIDANCE AND COUNSELLING FORM only the registration form on the CFO website, can anyone out there help me find to where I can get it online? Thanks a lot! :)

Hello I'm attempting to do the same thing our daughter has a Philippine passport and lives in the USA we plan to go on June 27 2023 to the Philippines we have tried numerous times to register her at CFO Manila online so she can have the certificate the online form doesn't understand she doesnt have a visa category nor visa number it does state online dual citizens also have to register but there is no literature that we could find about this someone has recently said there is someone in the Philippines that can dobit for you for a fee. As was mentioned 13 years ago in this thread, US Citizens, and in general citizens of any country other than the Philippines do not require CFO.  That hasn't changed since 2011.
