Hi everyone,

I have several question about the form 156K:

- About question 26, How long do you intend to stay in the US ? => Can I answer "forever"?

- About question 30, Have ever been issued a US visa ? => I have been in the US before but because I am french and it was short stay I did not really have a visa. Shoul I say "yes, tourist visa" anyway?

-About question 32, Do you intend to work int the US? => Of course I do but then they ask the name and the complete adress of US employer but I have no idea. I am still in France and I don't know what kind of job I will get and I don't have any contact. What should I answer?

Thank you for your help.

I have not gone thru that yet but I have my draft and my answers are/would be:

26- forever

30- for you is a NO, you went to the US but you have never had a visa, that is a NO NO

32- TBD (To be determined)

I was going to point you to the example form, but I got confused cause I DS-156K doesn't go up to those numbers, unless I'm doing something wierd.

But anyway the example filled out forms are here:

I believe you meant the 156, not 156K. Follow the answers on this example form: http://www.visajourney.com/examples/Form-DS-156.pdf

Oh, and number 30 asks if you have ever had a US visa. If you have not had a visa, then say no.

For question 30: Did you come over to the US, using VWP program? If so thats not a visa but you can list Visa Waiver Program.

I do not see a need for that. Number 29 asks if you have ever been in the US, when and how long. The OP would put their brief visit there. Number 30 asks if they have ever been issued a US Visa, and according to the OP, that would be a No.
