Hi Everyone. our 2 kids is a permanent resident here in US since september 17,2009. Soon this coming 9-17-2011 they're greencard will expires. My wife is waiting for her NOA from USCIS after filing N-400 for citizenship. My question are, should we file separate I-751 for removing the conditional resident for our kids or we should wait until my wife will pass on citizenship.

Thanks and hope someone can help us.

Have a great day!

If she hasn't completed the naturalization process by the time you're within a few weeks of the kid's green card expiration then file the I-751. If you don't file it before the green card expires then their status will be terminated, and they could be deported.

12/15/2009 - K1 Visa Interview - APPROVED!

12/29/2009 - Married in Oakland, CA!

08/18/2010 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!

05/01/2013 - Removal of Conditions - APPROVED!
