Im about to file for AOS and they're telling me i need 5 money orders...

1.- $325------GC

2.- $180------EAD

3.- $170------AP

4.- $70-------Biometrics

5.- $190------ ????

can someone help me out please?... i dont know what the last money order is for, the attorney said its the one where Im petitioning him....but i thought i had already petitioned him when i filed I-129F... Im confused :unsure:

Did your husband arrive on a K1? If so, it sounds as though your attorney is confused. $190 is the fee for the I-130 which is not a required form for adjustment from K1.

Call your attorney and ask him what form it goes with!

Your attorney is also confused, or perhaps absent minded. (Was it the attorney who said this or one of his staff?)

Or perhaps he's on the ball - did you get married within 90 days of entry to the USA? The fee for I-130 just happens to be $190.

yes, we did get married within the 90-days... and yes, it was the attorney who told my husband about the $190....

i looked up on uscis.gov but it says something about petition an immediate relative such as spouse, which now he is my spouse... but i dont remember reading any of I-130... :blush:

Based on what you've written you shouldn't need an I-130. Time for another call to your attorney to find out what he's thinking (or snorting).

Karol: What you are being gently directed to is that K-1s do not require an I-130. You may not be getting good representation.
