Hello,

I couldn't find a definitive answer to these questions on previous forum posts. So please excuse me if I'm asking repetitive questions.

For each of the below items, should I put none, N/A, or leave blank?

1) On I129-F, "8b. A#" for the petitioner

2) On I129-F, "9. A#" for beneficiary (He does not have an A#)

3) On G325a for petitioner, "File Number" at top

4) On G325a for petitioner, "Alien Registration Number" at bottom

3) On G325a for beneficiary, "File Number" at top (He does not have an A#)

4) On G325a for beneficiary, "Alien Registration Number" at bottom (He does not have an A#)

Thanks!

If the answer is None, put None. That's what we did and we got approved without an RFE. It's always better to not leave anything blank...

Ok, so you put "none" in every one of the 6 boxes I listed?

And lol.. I just realized I numbered them 1,2,3,4,3,4...

Yep. I just checked the copies we made, and we put "None" in all 6 boxes!

The problem with majority of apps is that people won't read!!

For every applications there are instructions, so if study them first, please. Please hire lawyers, pay bunch of money and all for nothing, all information is there, so read the damn thing, do some research, all is there for you and it's FREE.

Peter,

Are you saying that I am asking these questions because I haven't read the form instructions? I have, many times. The only statement in the I129-f instructions that addresses my question says:

State that an item is not applicable with "N/A." If the answer is none, write "none."

This does not specifically answer my questions, it is just a generalization. I was simply asking for clarification on the subject.

Yes you're right, these instructions can be vague. I was confused many time myself, sorry.

As previously mentioned, leave NO blank spaces, so they know you did not skip anything. I think for mine A# I put N/A since it just doesn't apply. Even though we have it, we are also citizens and you fill in your Naturalization Cert number anyway.

sometimes the forms were written by lawyers so you need a lawyer to decode it.

however, there's nothing wrong with questions on vj - that is what drives the site.

If he dpoes not have one, the answer is "none". If the question is not applicable, the answer is "NA"

In reality it will make no difference.

No, you don't. :P
