Honestly I would think it is because the east coast is more populated then the west coast. I think maybe they should split it a little more evenly based on population then by states. But thats just my idea

Arnold is cheating on his wife in cali maybe he's trying to win back some support :lol:

Just have patience it will eventually come for all of us.

I just hope CSC keeps up the pace and gets ours done in two months too.

For me personally i cant complain about VSC because my petition was approved in 69 days. I think it all depends on the case and sometimes how your package was presented and who handle your case , because CO are very particular while others are more relax

your case is different....your had a expediate bc of haiti situation......i am happy for that for you.....but your case had different reasons why it was approved so fast....

well me too,ive been waiting here more than 8 months! think about it guys more than 8 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!dont know if we will get an approval!,i stop calling and emailing vsc coz their reply were different,im sick and tired of them telling different explanations that are full of ######!

OMG I am sorry you are waiting so long!! Now THAT Is patience! I am "enjoying" when people approved in 2 months say..The patience paid off...I am adding you to our prayers.....

Its not true, I think its the same, I know people who just got approved in california center after 2 months, I have been till now 5 months without any approve. they just ask us for an additional evidence, am so angry.. they are not too fast , I think it will take more than one year just to got the approve and to go to US. :wacko::bonk:

I am not saying ALL Visas get approve in 2 months at CSC....but in the last month...CSC has stepped up their game and getting approvals on march applications.

I am so happy you posted this topic because I feel exactly like you do. It has been 6 months and 15 days today since NOA1. I got the background check letter like Marquis's Girl. I had a very tough weekend because I kept thinking how can they approve some people in two months and it take others more than 6, 7 or 8 months. I have processed Insurance Claims in the past and we handled those claims in date order. Yes some could be processed faster than others, but we never just stuck them back in a box and kept working on the newer ones that came in. We also were judged on how many claims we processed per day, but we had great management that would not allow the system to break down.

This process is broken. It is an insult to our intelligence. We know that if there is a problem with a November filer, they open the file, send an RFE. We know that a November filer could get tagged for additional background checks, but if you can process some in two months, there is no excuse for it to take any file over 8 months to finish unless the system is broken. And that is why we get lame excuses. Because there is no real excuse.

And because we are intelligent enough to realize this, it causes us to lose hope and faith. If a system is broken, we know that it will be dumb luck as to when our file ever gets picked up an approved. The fact that Marquis's Girl got an RFE after 6 1/2 months when she was told she was in background checks proves it to me.

I hope I am wrong and that there is some kind of organization or good management that is watching my file to make sure it gets processed as fast as possible. But no matter how much we are in love with our fiancee or spouse, this is a stressful and painful process that is stealing our time together.

I just pray to God that one of us gets approved soon so others of us can have hope again.

In the meantime, we have to find a way to live with our situation. We have to find a way to keep cheering each other up and not let this hurt our relationships.

We contacted Senator and filed Service Request and CSC told us to wait 180 days to contact them again. :wacko::wacko:

Are you in background check? Is that what you meant by this statement: I got the background check letter like Marquis's Girl. ?

If thats the case then nobody really knows, util the results from the checks come back. Sometimes a lot of the delay is that they get some possible match in their database and then they have to check deeper. So thats a big reason why cases can't get finished first come first serve, along with RFEs, IMBRA Waivers and all that.

I know its quite frustrating though and I wish you good luck.

Anything over 5 months you should submit a request to USCIS and see what's going on with the delay or contact your congressman. You shouldn't have to be waiting 7 or 8 months.

just as an fyi to those at this point in the process, i did call the uscis at exactly the 6 month point of waiting since sending of our petition. they put in a service request and stated that i should receive an email within 14 days of that phone call. i received an email less than two weeks, on the 17 of may. they are still conducting background checks and said that if i had not heard anything within 180 days........yikes!!! i know it is a standard reply and in no way do i believe that 6 more months will passs before the elusive noa2 finds my mailbox, but still a bit disheartening! so last night, i did write my congressman sam graves, and told him of our plight and sent him the contents of the email i received from uscis. again, we wait! hang in there all of us!! but think about the reason why all of us do what we do! that will get us thru all of the waiting. keep in mind that we are doing something very special and only a relative handful of people would knowingly, and voluntarily put ourselves and our loved ones thru this...why? do i have to ask??? remember what john kennedy said about going to the moon?
