I dont worry my relationship at all....We are a very solid couple. Like in my original post i would love to know why? WHy vermont is unable to get in gear....

It is much better than a few months ago when Vermont was going days without processing anything.

I don't really think it is a VSC or CSV matter because we are january 2011 VSC filers and we have been approved after 2 months and a half. If everything goes well I should get my visa by the end of july then It would be 7 months to get it.

I don't know what we have that other files don't or what we don't and other do but... If it was a VSC problem why we would have been approved and you?

We have been very surprise to receive our NOA2 and I wish that everyone has the same great surprise. I know it won't make thing go faster but I wish good luck to all of you.

For what it is worth, I spoke recently to a person connected to an immigration office. He explained that both California and Vermont service many different kinds of visas. He said "if they only had to deal with K-1 visas, you would get your NOA2 in a month." But they have to go through all the various kinds of files.

So we wait in line like everyone else.

Yeah, I know. I am waiting 4 months and I have nothing to complain about.

1/28/11 Sent package to Texas
2/03/11 NOA1 received and file is at the Vermont Center.Case number assigned.
6/10/11 NOA2 received.Approved!!!
6/13/11 Hard copy of NOA2 received.
6/28/11 NVC case number received. Case sent to Paris.
7/18/2011 Packet 3 sent out
7/20/11 Packet 3 returned by certified mail
8/31/11 Interview (Approved with two pieces of paper needed)
9/29/11 Visa received.
10/03/11 POE Cincinnati (Thanks to Delta now Atlanta) 5 hours to pick her up is worth it.
10/15/11 Married
10/21/11 AOS documents filed
11/25/11 Biometrics appointment
11/18/11 transferred to CSC

First I want to say I am happy for those couples getting approved so fast. Its a blessing. But why is vermont so slow compared to California. I am at 7 months now waiting and california is approving people waiting only 2 months???? My heart is breaking and I am really not understanding all this waiting. Is it less staff? Is it more cases? WHAT????? I know so many people on VJ waiting for even longer then me. This is hard to see others be approved so fast. Our lives are on hold....Why do you think the big difference between vermont and california?

I totally understand your line of questioning. Those were the same questions I was asking just a week ago. Unfortunately, there is really no rhyme or reason. Its disappointing not to hear a valid reason. I know. Good thing is that everyone has their day. Your timeline says that you've received an RFE. The upside to that is assuming they now have everything they require and your relationship can be validated by their terms, you should be well on your way to an approval.

Good luck.

Thank you....

es my RFE was about the Passport photos of me. Sent everything in....I think my main issue is that so many people are still waiting with no RFE no word....and it seems everyone is from the october november timeframe...Bad luck or pushed aside?

Well there are so many of us ready and prepared to get our loved ones here. And MANY of us have been waiting so great things must be coming. I am glad you have your NOA2 but really the not knowing is what wears on the people who have been waiting for so long and thats the test of us all. Knowing you have the NOA2 is one less thing to be worried about. Makes life lighter and more relaxed.....I think its wrong so many people are waiting....

For me personally i cant complain about VSC because my petition was approved in 69 days. I think it all depends on the case and sometimes how your package was presented and who handle your case , because CO are very particular while others are more relax
