ok so i called the county where i got the ticket, since i didn't have to go to court and it was only a ticket i was issued, the only thing they can give me is a copy of the ticket and the receipt for my payment. i hope this works

Yep that sounds good. Can you do a records check to show your record is now "clear" as well?

I ordered a Fina Disposition from the Court and it says Adjudication Withheld. I am in a mess I have no idea what to do, Its been 5 years and i thought it would have gone off my record by now plus the fact that i completed my 8 hours of community service. I guess the best bet is to Hire a Lawyer and get it Sealed.....any suggestion ?

Having it sealed won't stop the fact it's there. You'll have to tell USCIS about it and tell them what it was for. I would see an immigration lawyer to determine if this will hurt you, and how. I don't think it would be too bad honestly but it doesn't hurt to see.

**Note: the above is NOT the OP. The OP has a drugs charge, the above has an under-age drinking charge.

So for question 1A and 1B i have to select yes ?when i file for AOS and then have the court disposition with me as proof for the Interview or do i send a copy of the Court Disposition with the AOS ? I am seeing a Criminal and Immigration Lawyer on Monday. I am eligible for an Expungement since it was my first and only charge ($995 poorer) :(

I agree that I wouldn't really be concerned with an underage drinking charge, the OP is another matter all-together. This is why you should start your OWN topic and not thread-hijack.. it's too confusing. YOU would select 1b.

I did not High-Jack it...I just had a question along the same lines, Instead of creating a whole new topic this Thread alone addressed two issues one being a drug issue and one being an alcohol issue...Im sorry but I appreciate your feedback !

If it was the same question it's not a hijack, if it was somewhat similar it's not a hijack but your quetion was about your own situation, which was an alcohol fine, not drugs which are handled quite differently.

Having two people asking two different questions (you asked what happens to you which is different to what happens to the OP) makes people confused about who is asking what question and what answer relates to what question. Had your question ALSO been a drugs charge it's not a hijack because it could apply to the OP, your situation doesn't apply to the OP and the OP's doesn't apply to you, hence the term hijack because you're using this thread to get answers specific to YOU which do not relate to the OP. It would also be a hijack if you had multiple charges where the OP only has one. Unless the situations are basically identical it's taking the attention from the OP.

Whoa, calm down. I Apologized...Jesus !

I wasn't upset or being mean or confrontational. You said it wasn't a hijack. I was explaining what hijack meant and that it was, in fact, a hijack. Not only for you but for anyone else who reads so they know what a hijack is and what it means. I just assumed you weren't familiar with the term (because if you were you would have realised it was a hijack) and so I explained it. No harm done. it's easy to report this thread and have your hijack moved to it's own thread (if the Mods deem appropriate).

**Just to be fair - it was a bit of a hijack (can be confusing to the OP and/or those trying to help them, and you); will leave everything here but next time, perhaps a new thread/topic would be in order. Thanks
