I would appreciate it if anyone can help me with one question. I petition for citizenship 5 years ago in Hawaii but I never got through with it. I gave up and move to California. Do I have to reapply or is my petition still there? Thanks everyone

I am asking for my uncle not me.

If you applied 5 years ago and never followed up on the application, USCIS will close the file. You obviously abandoned the application so you will have to start all over and pay the new fees as well.

No biometrics nor interview appointments that were ignored? Says right on those notifications if you don't show up, the application will be closed. Was trying to recall the fees 5 years ago, in the 400 buck range. Today, its 680 bucks. USCIS does not give refunds.
