I have had Net10 service since April. I NEED call history for the I-129F correct? What I have is my calls to my fiance via Skype and Tel3, both available online, however it shows VERY short call times because I call him and he calls back to talk long periods being it's much cheaper for him to call me than me to call him. ANYWAY, Net10 has just told me over the phone that it's impossible to get a copy of call history without a NOTORIZED LETTER stating why I want this information and FAX it to them, which will then take THIRTY DAYS!!!?!?! What IS this?! My I-129F is ready to be mailed by Monday! EXCEPT for this now... WHAT DO I DO?!??

you need proof of meeting in the last 2 years. the call history isn't important but some people like to send it in.

it's good to have at the interview because it shows a continued relationship, so at the end of every month send a notarized letter for the history from net10 to so your fiancee can have all the information need when the interview date is established.

go ahead and mail it off on Monday to get the process started, remember to triple check all your paper work, don't leave any spaces empty and put n/a and none in the correct spaces on all forms, don't forget the two letters of intent forms you and your fiancee.

good luck

I have pictures of us from two weeks ago when I was visiting him.

I have passport stamps (copy each page to show I was there with him in Feb and May this year).

I have copies of plane tickets (Feb and May this year to visit him).

I have receipts of three Western Union receipts (debating whether to send these or if it's just a risk since it deals with money).

I have February and March 2011 call history via SPRINT service before I switched to Net10.

I have receipts of phone cards bought to recharge his account and mine. And I have the call history from April via Skype and Tel 3 for the month of May. (Previous history WOULD be available on Skype- hours of webcam chats but I can't figure out how to access that on Skype, it just shows the last thirty days and he's been w ithout internet for the last thirty days).

Do I have sufficient information already or do I need to pursue the full call history and wait thirty days for sh***y Net10 to get it to me? In which case it would only show April and May 2011 anyway...?

you have ample evidence showing that you met in the last 2 years( boarding pass, air line tickets and about 3 to 6 pictures with full faces of both of you in different locations)

I wouldn't send in the western union at this point, but it's good at the interview phase to show an on going relationship.

also, since it's such a long process with net 10 at the end of every month send in the paper work to get the call history so when you send the package to your finace he can have all the proof of an on going relationship.

I do have the two letters of intent, however when I met with a lawyer on Thursday (NOT going to use him as I realized I'm better off on my own filing) he said that letters of intent aren't needed for the I-129F and said he doesn't understand why people do it?

Also the letter of intent and G-325a forms from my fiance was signed by him but faxed to me so it's a photo copy of his signature. This same lawyer stated that I need to sign by the signature to show original signature. Is that correct?

1. the letter of intent is very important read the rfe stick and see how many people got rfe for missing letters of intent.

2. every form that needs a signature has to be the original(no photocopies) you have 2 choices on this you can mail it off like it is and hope the reviewer doesn't notice it's a copy or you can have your fiance mail the originals to you today before the post office close in Jamaica because they close early today and wait for it to arrive.

It sounds like you met with a lawyer who doesn't really understand immigration - cause if you read the filing requirements they ask for the letter of intent. Also, you file copies and bring the originals with you to the interview - Include the form that says you certify that everything is a true and correct copy (look in the guides here) and be prepared with the originals at the interview.

Don't waste your time attaching 100 pages worth of chatlogs and phone bills/calls with your i-129f unless they actually show you being in the same room or country as your fiance(e). You will probably need them later on (at the embassy stage showing ongoing relationship) but then you have about 5 months to gather that information still if you haven't sent the i-129f : )

You can export skype calls with a program when that time comes. Here's a link and little guide from a fellow VJ'er: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/215292-how-to-print-the-skype-call-list/page__view__findpost__p__3261822

Unneccessary to show proof of on going relationship with I-129F? I didn't realize that! Thanks so much for all the replies, btw :)

I cannot get to the actual program to download for Skype... Do you know the name for the program?

Phone records show proof of ongoing relationship which isn't needed until the visa stage but even then you don't NEED phone records as there are other ways to show ongoing relationships like email etc. I would be nice though so i'd go ahead and get started on getting that done for later.

http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-129finstr.pdf page 3, letter B states letter showing intent to marry in the 90 days... so I don't know what your lawyer thinks you're SUPPOSED to include instead of the letter of intent.

All documents need ORIGINAL signatures. It will not be accepted otherwise. If it's a document from your fiance it's needs HIS original signature, not yours so it's good that you're dumping this lawyer.

There are several programs out there for that purpose. I prefer the small one called "skype log view" which can be found at http://www.softpedia.com/dyn-postdownload.php?p=112928&t=4&i=1

If it refuses to start then end skype and start skype logview. You can sort through your call so it only shows history between you and your fiance(e). You can also exclude the chat and only see calls(I preferred doing that as 3 months worth of calls alone took up 15 sheets of paper, hehe).

From the skype logview you can export(copy/paste) to a word document.

Thanks again! I'm working on it, but am not really getting any history showing up... Do you have to be one the computer that was the computer you called from? (This is a new laptop- I had used my old one for most of the calling)
