Hi Everyone! I already have an interview schedule this 7/7/2011, Can anyone here give me an idea on how many days will it take before I can have the results of my medical exam? Those who have been through with the medical exams please share your experience.

Hey, after the medical it took me 4 days and that was over the weekend 2. Knightsbridge doctors were the company to do my medical and they forward all medical result to the embassy.

Hope this helps, also i called the company on the 4th day and they actually told me all was ok with the medical and that the embassy had received the results that day.

You'll know on the second day of the medical. If you have to have a sputum test, they'll let you know on day 2 and that will probably delay the interview. If you finish the medical on the second day, with no further testing required and they don't tell you otherwise, then you have passed the medical and they will forward the results to the embassy ahead of your interview. Hope that answers your question. BTW, I see your interview is the same day as my wife's. You'll probably bump into her there. Congratulations

I just had my medical last week. My medical went well. The standard is 2 days medical. 2nd day is the result and immunization. If you have a problem in your x-ray then you are required to go back on the third day to have sputum test. This will delay your interview if the sputum test is positive. If you have a recent X-ray result (3 months old) then bring it so they have a basis. Good luck

Thanks for the info, I'm hoping and praying that my medical will go well but in-case something went wrong and the interview will be delayed, will St. Luke's reschedule my interview or i will have to call the embassy? Wow Congratulations to you too! God Bless.

I read numerous times here at VJ, from others who had a sputum test, that St. Lukes handles the rescheduling.

But here's hoping you don't have that short (but frustrating) delay. Best of luck!

I will probably have an x-ray test before going to Manila just to be sure. :) Thank you so much for the info. God Bless.

Philippines Forum This link goes to the Philippines forum where there is much information on St. Luke's and the process. Here is a link to preregister for the physical so you don't have to spend so much time in que.......St. Luke's info/preregistration link. You CAN make the interview appointment at the Embassy yourself if you get flagged for the sputum test and miss your 1st scheduled interview. We did but we're not sure if it saved any time as we still had to wait a month post results for the first date available. I urge you to get your physical done as soon as possible for peace of mind sake. Best of luck and best wishes!!! Also if you go the middle to end of a week, they're much less busy and you won't have to go so early in the day.
