I was wondering if the forms and checklist can be picked up from the embassy? I was looking the guide here and saw forms will be sent to her. What all will be sent to her? Can she just pick them up? She lives pretty close to the embassy and would be much easier for her to pick them up. All of her mail goes to her hospital and she doesn't always get her mail. I've sent her a few letters, cards and such, and one of them didn't get to her also pretty much was lost or taken. I'm just worried about something important like that not getting to her. Thanks.

Have you checked the embassy website to see if they are available for download?

Thanks and although that is a solution to my problem it doesn't answer my question. I would like to know instead of the papers being mailed to her can she pick them up straight from the embassy?

The reason I'm still asking this is because she also doesn't have an easy way to print. I do remember when I visited her she had to use the hotel's printer because they don't have one at the flat where she lives. Again instead of searching for a way to print and taking a risk on mail can she just pick them up from the embassy? Has anyone had experience with this or know if this should be ok? Thanks.

My suggestion would be for you to complete the forms, print them, and then send them to her via FedEx/UPS/DHL. That is what I did.

Posting your question in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) regional forum may get you embassy specific answers about picking up forms.
