Still waiting for someone to make the FIRST attempt at engaging with the subject - why don't YOU contribute to the subject of the thread instead of sitting on the sidelines scurrilously throwing in grenades like 'you are trolling' which is so easy to do

Not sure how I as a native American could address your post. You want to know what immigrants from Europe think. I personally love this country and although I know it is riddled with problems I dont believe that many Europeans understand what is so great about this country. Sure they say they do but 99.9% of the time they b i t c h about it.

I wish the native Americans had only learned polite English expressions. As a second nation American (the English), I like some of the climates in the US and very low taxation and I can shoot my guns. Apart from that, the food is awful quality and the place is wall to wall with RWNJ's

Now there is an objective assessment that includes positives and negatives but in this society ONLY positives are permissible - that's a negative.

Do native Americans think that in societal terms, the country has moved in a kinder direction since, say, Custer ?

Plenty of great places in America to eat. Hell we are such a diverse country that we get the best of all countries. This comment you made only proves my point. You think very little of America and that attitude follows you every where you go.

As far as RWNJ's go, we are a divided pretty evenly in this country when it comes to politics. Like I said you are trolling.
