What never ceases to amaze me is that people seem perfectly willing to write things off without bothering to watch them. It isn't too your taste, so don't watch it. I can think of a few dozen tv shows that aren't too my taste. Guess what, i don't watch them. However, it seems silly to take some silly moralising stance when you are completely ignorant of the content of the show or its presentation.

The sky is not falling just because someone makes a tv series about sensationalist subject matter. There is life beyond television...

If you look at history, you'll see these things occur in cycles. Its no big deal. The 19th and early twentieth century were fairly low tolerant periods, I'm sure we'll return there again.
