I am finally ready to send in the I-129F for the first time. I was just wondering if anyone out there could give me some tips or examples on sending it? I read that the passport photos would be labeled and in plastic bags attached to white sheets of paper, but other than that it seems very open-ended.

Should I send it all in one big folder? Labels?

Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

1 large paper clip holding it all together with a contents cover on front, in a mailer that fits your stack of papers.

You need nothing more than that. They take it all apart and organize it in their own folders in their own order.

I suggest that you pay with a Postal Money order. Just like cash for government agencies...

I disagree with this pay with a personal check that way you know exactly when it was cashed. take a 2nd and 3rd review to make sure you didn't miss anything. also, don't leave any space blank put n/a and none in the correct sections and just don't answer everything with n/a.

Money order or personal check is just fine. In my case, I used a money order. I sent it April 1, 2011 and got notified electronically (by text and email) on April 5, 2011. A week later I got the hard copy by mail. If you are sending to the Texas lock box you can track the package through USPS website.

I agree and check all your documents two or three times before sending it in. Though, this may take a couple of hours or so, it will save you a possible RFE in the long run. If you follow the guides here in VJ, you will be fine. Good luck on your journey!

Unlikely. Something had to be wrong, not the date format.

Regarding the subject, I made a huge mistake and sent my package First Class mail. Three months later I found it in my mailbox destroyed, smelly, as it was soaked in water. The following I sent Express Mail which was delivered the next day.

Learn on other's mistakes.
