Hello all from a newb who is very glad to have found this site.

My name is Michael and I am systems programmer Columbus Ohio, my fiancée is Evgenia (Jenny) a university lecturer in Kerch Crimea. We met when I took a sabbatical in 2009 and spent 3 months in Crimea. We have been in nearly constant communications since and in April I returned to visit and proposed. Jenny agreed 8^)

So now we tackle the morass that is the K-1 process -- Jenny has to get a new internal passport as it seems she cannot find hers so we have to wait on that so she can get her foreign passport … once she has her new internal passport we will begin the k-1 process.

I have been reading many posts here and it seems to be very helpful community. I hope to be able to give back as much as I take out ! :)

Salute, colleague. Hop on board, step inside, we're going for a magical ride, rowing toward the other side.

I'm in SF, originally from Ukraine, have been living in the US for 15yrs.

Kerch is beautiful, an ancient city in Ukraine. I spent many summers in Kerch camps. My siblings live in Sevastopol, Crimea.

Say hello to Zhenya. Cheers
