nope, yer at the NVC stage - things happen quickly for an EP case.

Your problem, I sense, is that you've been getting the brain dead TeleOperators.

They be untrained about EP ops.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

yeah... nothing i can do other than calling every other day to check .

Last time, after 20 bus days , I called a few times, some of them even told me to wait for another week , finally , i got a nice one who helped me put a process request . Guest what ? the next day the case was processed and they generated an RFE to ask for 2 photos .

Don't be ridiculous--virtually everything is computerized at IRS, but every step in the immigration process is gated by human beings--ever looked at the volumes involved--if you haven't, you should

took me 60 days for NVC stage to complete . Could have been faster if I didn't forget to include the bar code the first time and two passport photos.

NVC said that every 2nd week of the month , they get a new rooster on interview slots from the Consulate or Embassy. Based on this rooster , they will schedule interviews .

and NVC is wrong, alas -

EP casefiles bound to china get scheduled within 5 days of 'final review complete'

Did you read the contents of that link, about timeticks for EP cases?

NVC Teleoperators are not trained on EP casefiles, at all, and you got the stock answer'.

Keep up with NVC via telephone, reread that timetick list in that link, aye?

Sometime soonish, you'll start final review, then be in final review, then final review will be finished,

but

DO please, read that timetick list... please? purty please with 14 litres of hotpot ?

(I'm thinking ya not click through on my links, in two posts here... please make some time, soonish? The DJ Walker Dialog, in and of itself, covered d@mn near every conceivable tenet of EP processing for Guangzhou, and the timeticks page should help you, a bit - these links are safe to click, I swear, won't install any malware on yer pooter - but if yer viewing VJ through a cell phone, grab a pc, have another look/read, soonish?)

NVC operators don't understand how things work with electronic processing. They gave you not only the stock answer for Consulates in general but the wrong one for Guangzhou when using standard processing. Trust Darnell's links. What actually happens is well documented.

just read your time tick . I already got case complete email from NVC last Friday afternoon. Today is Wednesday afternoon. When I got case complete email, does it mean that final review is done ??? On the bottom of the email , it was signed by NVC review team . So, I should get an interview schedule notice by this Friday ?

case complete never equal final review complete.

there's a 'legend' on the time ticks page, does it make sense?

you need to give us up to 20 bus days for this to process . after 20 bus days , you can give us a call and then we'll look into it .

Nice , huh !

If I didn't get the help the 1st time after 20 days, my case probably wouldn't have been processed .

One thing, I didn't include the bar code page the 1st time I sent DS230 and I 864 . That might have caused the delay. then, this time , when they told me about the RFE , I printed the bar code and sent it along in the email .

Looks like nothing I can do now other than to wait for another 10 bus days before they can put a processing request into their system.

We had a case complete 15 days after we sent it in....
