Money coming from the beneficiary to the petitioner is one huge red flag! It makes it look like the beneficiary is paying the petitioner for immigration purposes. Money coming from the petitioner to the beneficiary is looked at differently. Especially if the beneficiary is from a third world country and is poor. K-1 Petition is expensive, thus, the petitioner has to send funds to the beneficiary to pay for all the miscellaneous expenses incurred during the entire process. I hope other VJ members can chime in.

Can you explain your answer more please? We probably will decide against the money transfer receipts but I'm still a bit curious myself. Thanks.

I think I understand the concern. If she's giving you and your family money, although they're for birthdays, the officer might question her intention. On the other hand, if you (USC) give her money, it's ok because in this situation, the way they see it is, she can only benefit from you, which is Green card. If it's a small amount, i think it should be ok. Do you want to take the risk?

Hello, My fiance is always sending me money since then cause he helped my kids (from my first husband) to go to school cause I was working before and after he visited me here, he told me to just stay at home and take good care of my kids and Im pregnant at that time. He continue sending me money after i gave birth to our son, does it affect if we file the K1 visa and include the receipts of western union ? We are just only waiting for my son's CRBA before we file K1. Any suggestions will be appreciated, since we still have time to finalize the documents before sending it to USCIS. Thanks !

I take screen shots of the chats we have, also I call my girl on her cell and skype keeps record of the billable charges. Hope that helps.

This depends very much on the country and which direction the money is going.

what if i (the petitioner) send money to my fiancee (beneficiary) each other week for english tutor? being that im not receiving money from her, dose that look bad? i cant really prove that its for a tutor other then a signed paper from the tutor saying she is receiving this money for her services. i only ask because there going to see that in my bank statements, and if they ask i dont want to be caught lying.

i just got ahead of my self jeje, i did not see if there was a second page to this thread sorry
