Hi all,

I'm aware that I need to fill out 3 G325A (2 for I-130 and 1 for I-485). On the bottom part there is following question:

This form is submitted in connection with an application for:

For I-130, for me should I tick Other (specify) and put I-130 petitioner

For I-130, for my wife should she tick Other (specify) and put I-130 alien relative of petitioner

For I-485, should my wife tick Status as Permanent Resident or tick Other (specify) and put I-485 adjustment status?

I have tried to find answers though I find several answers. On the example form of this web, the answer is status as permanent resident (however, it doesn't state it is the correct answer for every G325A or for certain G325A. On other website I found out that for I-485 my wife should tick 'Permanent Resident"; for I130 my wife should tick "Permanent Resident", while for me I should tick "other and specify as in support of I-130 spouse" while i got a friend who tick Permanent Resident (but please not that my friend filed her case years ago and it's different version of form form the current one and it still required 4 forms where her husband as petitioner filled out all G325A forms and she filed nothing under that form). So, I need some help who just have been through same condition.

Thank a lot.

Hi,

I checked other and wrote: I-130/I-485, both for me and my husband. And I sent my G-325a and his for both I-130 AND I-485.

My friend used a lawyer and that's what he checked for her.

My forms have been accepted and so far no RFE, I sent recently, but I'm pretty sure I won't have a problem with it since that's what my friend did and she got her GC with no problems...

05/16/2011: Sent I-130, I-485, I-864, I-131 and I-756 to Chicago Lockbox facility via USPS Express Mail.

05/17/2011: (Day 1): Package received and signed by S BUSH.

05/23/2011: (Day 7): Email + text confirmation for all forms.

05/24/2011: (Day 8): Checks cashed. ($1490) Ouch!!

05/27/2011: (Day 11): NOA received in the mail for all 4 forms.

05/28/2011: (Day 12): Biometrics Appointment letter in mail. Scheduled for June 22nd!

06/03/2011: (Day 18): Email/text received RFE.

06/08/2011: (Day 23): Received RFE letter in mail. Asking for Medical Form, I-693! I sent it already with my application, but I guess they lost it! :/

06/21/2011: (Day 36): Sent RFE response. CS gave me another form I-693 completed and signed.

06/22/2011: (Day 37): RFE package received in Lee's Summit, MO.

06/24/2011: (Day 39): Email/text RFE response received and under review.

07/07/2011: (Day 52): EAD/AP approved, card production ordered.

07/12/2011: (Day 57): Another text/email saying EAD card production ordered.

I marked the "status as permanent resident" , on both G325a's my husband's and mine

For I-485, should my wife tick Status as Permanent Resident or tick Other (specify) and put I-485 adjustment status?

Im not sure which part on I 485 has the exact same question, but if you are talking about part 2-application type- I marked A.

I have tried to find answers though I find several answers. On the example form of this web, the answer is status as permanent resident (however, it doesn't state it is the correct answer for every G325A or for certain G325A.
