I was given 2 papers, the first one was Document delivery information and on the flip side of it is welcome to the united states of america

and the 2nd paper was a one sided paper with frequently asked questions on it.

''You may expect to receive your envelope within two weeks of your interview/approval date.''

Thats on the 1st paper i mentioned.

Hi! i had the same date (May 16) as you on your interview. i checked online and nothing yet. How did you know that your passport has left Montreal?

I am hoping i could get my passport by Monday.

Thanks.

The US Visa tracking site showed the DHL waybill number, using the waybill number I looked it up on DHL.ca and saw that it had left dorval at 10pm last night.

Well ours was on the 18th of May and we're also waiting. I'm not going to call DOS until next week. It also felt anti-climactic for us too. She just said congratulations we will send you the visa in the mail as she was walking away. We did not get a letter. What does yours say?

My interview on May 24 was the same, we didn't get a letter either. When my husband and I walked away from the booth (booth 10 not 7 as it was supposed to be) my hubby turned to me and said "thats it? does that mean you're approved?" It was so fast and anti-climatic as well that my husband hadn't realized it was over.

well it is now tuesday and i called DOS to find out why i still havnt gotten any news from my visas .. it has been 10 business days since my interview and according to the man i spoke with MONTREAL in particular is backed up like crazy and that they havnt even printed my visas out yet.

I asked if there were any complications or doing some extra checking or investigating and he said no .. that from what he can see everything is in order but that montreal just hasnt printed it out yet..

this is extremely frustrating knowing that im accepted and im waiting on that 1 little paper to let me cross .. so close yet so far.. i hope montreal starts getting to work soon enough..
