I understand how that feels. My fiancee was sick several times within the past year and i was not there for him either. I felt really bad too. You feel like you are abandoning them. But its not by our choice that we can't be there. You just have to try to help him get through being sick. I would tell my baby what medicine to take, I sent him get well ecards, i called him 1 times in the day until he was better just to see how he was feeling, although i couldn't be there for him what i did do meant as much to him as if i was there. So do the best you can to get him through it he will remember you for that believe me and he will appreciate you more for it. He knows you wish you could be there. I will pray that he gets better soon. And i wish you both a speedy process. Hang in there it will get better i promise.

Walk with the angels

let them keep you safe

we'll join you one day

in that wonderful place

stand on the clouds and never forget

we're holding on to you

in our memories and thoughts

until one day we'll meet again

Truly missed but never forgotten:

I know this completely OT, but I thought at first your SN was : ilovemyhairyman. it made me laugh for a few minutes. Until I realised I read it wrong.

Anyway... I hope he feels better soon. I know when my fiance got food poisoning during our 2nd visit, I felt somepletely helpless too. But it's not like he's got long hair I can help hold out of his face while he's puking.

Just want to add a little bit. This week I came down with the flu. My fiance was getting mad at me because I was still working 11 and 12 hour days and going to the gym. It was cool to know that she loves me and wants to take care of me. When she gets here I'll cool off on the working. It's cool to be loved !!!!

16/10/2006- Interview date- I'm nervous and my fiance is cool calm and collective. And she's the one that has to do the interview.
