This worked for me. My wife sent the email and few days letter I got a mail stating that I was selected as her agent of choice.

By the way, I would recommend you to call NVC first and update both your email address and contact number. Bottom line is, email works just fine.

Good luck.

That's what we did. 1st I called and gave the email address of both (Petitioner & Beneficiary) and later from Beneficiary's email address emailed the DS-3032 form.

I e-mailed my DS-3032 and had no issues with it. It was accepted in a day or two!

As per this

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/LingChe_NVC_ShortCut#8._Getting_your_IIN_.28invoice_identification_number.29

One needs to send DS-3032 email once it's generated (You get email from NVC with DS-3032 form) . Is that right or it doesn't matter , Beneficiary can send the email DS-3032 as soon as NVC Case# or Invoice ID is generated?

Yes, I don't think that maters. Once your case is logged in with NVC you don't really have to wait for the physical mail. Over the years as technology is more accessible to people, some formalities were changed a bit and this is just one of them. And believe me, one would be saving loads of time if they don't have to wait for physical response and be more pro-active on this as well as paying for the AOS and IV and mailing the necessary documents. But the persona must have a good understanding on what they are doing.

My spouse (Beneficiary) just got this in the email . I didn't get the same in the email though.

Does this means the DS-3032 that was emailed 2 days back is accepted and now I am agent to continue further communication for the NVC processing..

Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

We received the principal applicant's DS-3032 (Choice of Address and Agent) form designating an address and agent. Instructions for paying the immigrant visa application processing fee and all future correspondence will be sent to the agent at the address selected on the DS-3032.

For more information regarding the immigrant visa application fee or for answers to frequently asked questions, please visit the following website:

http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3904.html

If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact with the NVC (by telephone, mail, or email), all submitted fees and documents will expire. If this occurs, your fees will need to be repaid and documents will need to be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process.

This means that you've been chosen as her agent of choice. Soon you will get another email where it says that you have been assigned as the agent of choice by xyz (assuming they have your right email address).

What you do is go to the payment site (https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx) on a regular basis (assuming you already know your Case # and I.I.N) and check if the AOS fee has been generated or not. If it is, make the payment and wait for the "Status" to be changed "PAID". Takes a day or two, and then you can start working on the AOS documents.

The same will happen for IV soon and the process would be same as AOS.

Prepare the documents and then you will need to send them to the address specificed in the bar-coded sheet.

When emailing the DS-3032, do you attach the PDF completed form as well to the email, or just use the template provided on this site as the content?
