hard question can anybody help

hi

just got approved for CR1, now waiting for NVC to contact me , im the USC now my question is my wife is 6 month pregnant and she will deliver in egypt we r in the process of filling the DS 230 will i need to fill DS230 for the baby when he is born ? and if not how can we get our baby to come with my wife since the paper work we r filling now will not have anything about him ? i hope that will not delay her coming here some body told me that i need to fill an application and translate the baby birth cert when he is born but when i researched that they require me to be there for an interview since im the U.S parent and i cant be there is there another way ????? can the baby be added to her egyption passport and then when they arrive here i can start his paperwork ?

Congrets maan. Your baby is already a citizen through you, so you dont have to file any petition for the baby. What you do need to do is file for the certification of citizenship at the consulate where your wife is living. once he/she get the certificate he/she can come to US with his/her mother

yes that right plus now there is no add to the kids on mumm passport even they are young or babies ,they will issue separtelay passport for them,listen as soon as she deliver the baby she can apply for him for citzenship and american passport and it didnt take much time ,alot of my friends here in egypt did that ,congratulation in advance

yes we will apply as soon as he is born but they said in order for the baby to get U.S passport i have to be there for the interview which i can not .
