I saw an older post of yours about the divorcee decree,so my husband had a prior marriage, and i'm not clarified if we had to take the original of that divorcee decree at the interview or not,I personally understand that not,but i guess it's better to have it with me.

And also i don't get it with DS-230 and I-864,i read some posts and it seems we have to have the I 864 update and Ds 230 also.

On the letter from NVC doesn't says about those.

Thank you

3 weeks from now...yes yes yeskicking.gifkicking.gif mine should be right behind yoursbiggrin.gif

Bring what's on the notification checklist. Both D-230 and I-864 are already in the package you submitted to NVC. As per your hubby's divorce decree it is also in the package.

Relax girl, the next step is the interview that's all, and I'm sure it's going to be successfulgood.gif

My POE is going to be JFK, and I'm afraid it's going to be a long one as it takes like 1h to go through customs when it comes for just as a visitorwacko.gif

I as stressed as you are, I even dream of the interview, it's only easier to give advices to others than to ourselfs biggrin.gif

I don't think much when I'm at work, but I took some days to run some errants and it's just horrible when I got nothing to do but cleaning the house and think about the interview.wacko.gifheadbonk.gif

According to the NVC letter of interview appointment, the beneficiary is not required to bring the divorce decree. If you sent it to USCIS, then you should be fine. My concern was that the copy I sent looked quite a bit different (or longer) from the original. I don't think it's the consulate's responsibility to determine if the petitioner is free to marry since that proof was already established by USCIS. So, no need to bring that to your interview because it should be already in the hands of the consulate (sent from USCIS to NVC to consulate). Anybody else here, please correct me if I'm wrong.

How is POE determined? Does the embassy decide where you have to enter the U.S? Or is it just whatever plane tickets you purchased?

I think the same, just want it a second opinion,i'll just go with what they ask on the app letter and i believe if the embassy wants something else, they will announced us!
