We passed! Anna said it was super-easy, 2 questions (What my name was and what I do!). She called and woke me up to share the good news!!!!!!!

Well for news on my side... Wife made it to US...

POE was a breeze for my wife.

We passed today too !! YEYYY :D

After 18 days...waiting on the HK police certificate to show up...I called the embassy...they just sent the visa out. So I guess we're officially approved now. :dance: :dance: :dance:

God, it's finally over...and just beginning.

Hello people,i have some questions,at POE they put a stamp which says addmited,CR1,and the date i have to remove conditions,july 25 2013.That was it,so what should i expect know,welcome letter and then the green card,or do we have to take action and do something,like fill for ssn,or green card!

All went well! They didn't even ask to look at any pictures that my husband had brought with him, just chatted for 5 minutes about traveling in the US.

Only glitch: they claim that the statement I submitted about why I didn't pay taxes the past 4 years (full time student) was not signed!! So I have to sign the letter and then my husband can send it in with his passport, should only cause a delay of a week.

My big question: If everything was accepted at the NVC, no RFE, no problems why would the consulate suddenly demand this???

Anyhow..overall quite happy at how easy the interview was for him..though we will be happier when the visa is in hand :whistle:
