Add me to the APPROVED list! finally im done with this. I wonder in how many days do i get back my passport? they said it will take a week or 10 days. Thanks to everyone here who helped us in our journey. it wouldnt have been possible without VJ's help!

Thanks everyone... i am really wishing that everyone gets their visas soooon... im being so impatient..cant wait for the courier guy to give away my passport and that huge scary envelope

We are in Montreal ready for our interview tomorrow at 8AM. Did the dry run this aft. It's very hot here but it was worth it. We are in the Holiday Inn next door to the Medysis Clinic and it's a 10 min easy walk to the consulate. Medical was a breeze, no issues at all, hoping the intervew process goes well too. Will report back as soon as I can.... wish us luck!

The CO looked at the file asked a few questions, made me sign and swear Iwas telling the truth, then he said " its ok, you'll receive the passports back withinh 1 week"

That sounds like an approval to me, Lidia! They didn't say "approved" at my husband's either, but if they take your passport and don't give you anything requesting more documents or saying you're on AP, it's APPROVED! Congratulations!

Our ticket was issued at 12:43pm, we were interviewed by 4:15, the guy went so quickly through the file, I asked him if he wanted to see the pli of pics I had brought, he said no. when I told him we gor married in Madison Al. then he said so you speak English, I said yes, he started speaking English and was amazed I could speak it fluently, that was the only time he had a weird look. He played jokes with my daugther while he was checking the documents, making her laugh, that was cute.

We had a sort of "expedite interview" that's why it's hard to believe it's done. Well I guess he was tired of asking the same questions all day long

The interviews do go fast there, so it's not out of the ordinary that it seemed rushed. It sounds like everything went just fine to me, but having been in your place I know you won't feel total relief until the visa is in hand! It will all be over soon!

My daughter keeps on telling me " Mom we are approved, the gentleman said we will receive the passports next week" I've been waiting for so long, I had figured it out differently, I thought they would torture me...and then, just these words " it's ok" that's all he said

Excited for everyone that was approved! Hubby's interview is in 6 days!!! Excited and nervous , I won't be there with him, but going through the stuff he needs so he doesn't forget anything. Any last minute suggestions?
