11 days and no interview date yet!

Hello all, its been 11 days and there is no news of my interview date. At this point am I supposed to contact nvc still or call US embassy of Riyadh for updates. Does it usually take that long or do I have to worry about it? please help.

Since your timeline is not up to date, I'm going to assume you have a case complete from NVC?

You can try calling DOS or NVC but it has only been 11 days, they will tell you that they only book apointments up until the 2nd week of the month, sit tight

11 days since what? do you already have you case number???

if so, then you may just email the US embassy in Saudi to check if they already have you packet and if your file is in their system. also you may ask them if how you can set an interview appointment.

For what i been able to read K1 interview are schedule by Embassy IR CR are schedule by NVC.

Why? Have no clue ? No explanation given Just repeating what i read on Vj's .

Maybe your embassy is Different my say Call the NVC , Wend i call same story plus embassy appoitments full for June call back at the beginning of June to see if you can get one for July , Your documents still here in NH and case have been completed and approved Waiiting to schedule to send to embassy .

I even CALL DOS they said Sr you must call the NVC we cant help you You documents look approve and complete and waitting for interview.

OMG! yep i didnt notice shes an IR/CR1...in PI NVC set appointment for interview, not sure in saudi. still, email them, call NVC thats the only way to solve the puzzle

There isn't much you can do but just keep calling NVC everyday. The time that takes them to schedule really depends on how busy the embassy is with the interviews. Sometimes it takes only a couple of days and soemtimes a couple of weeks. Keep calling. Don't believe the "we only schedule interviews the second week of the month" thing. Good luck!

Thank you guys! yeah my case has been completed at the nvc and now waiting to get scheduled for an interview date. Iam tired of listening to the we-schedule-interviews- in 2nd week script!! but yeah im patiently waiting for the date. they already did tell me that i cant get an interview date in june so im hoping for early july!
