Cheap phone calls to the UK ?

SKY & BT in the UK have unlimited calling to US landlines or mobiles for 5 pounds/month. I ring hubby a few times and he calls me back...the only catch is you have to hang up before 60min. so we hang up & he calls back for another 60min. If your hubby already has one of these landline providers than he just has to call & ask to add it on.

I have vonage I pay $12.50 a month for local and long distance and calls to England. If you been with vonage for 12 months call and do a deal.

I have a 0151 number for family to call me. Vongage call it a virtual number thats $5 a month.

I installed Google Voice on my cell phone. Calling the UK is 2 cents a minute to a land line and 10 cents a minute to a mobile phone. I simply dial the country code and number and the Google Voice app sees that it is an overseas call, jumps in the middle, and dials a local free number for me, then tells me the cost per minute. The app is free but you need a smart phone and have to put a few dollars on the account to make the calls. You can also make them from your laptop.

Google Voice just a few days ago became available in the UK to call the US for 1p a minute. You need 10 pounds to start the service.

Rebtel is how my fiance and I chat on the go.

He's registered my phone number with them, it gives him a local number to call that connects him to me via a number in london. I pick up, let it rest one second, hang up, then call the London number back. It connects me straight back to his call and uses his and my minutes rather than charge us.

We use a prepaid phone card from www.simplink.com, its about 5cent/3p a minute on a land line. I also have AT&T over here and have the international package that costs me about an extra $5 a month and about 8cent a minute.
