The chance to actually live in the UK for a year.....English back bacon, bacon butties....good chips..the chance to actually shop at Harrods, and to see all of London for 2 days when we went to the Embassy, that was soooooo great, cant wait to get the chance to go back and visit London, but hubby is from Nottingham, so when we go back for our yearly trip to see family, the only part of London we see is what can be seen from airplane window on approach to Heathrow... :P

I posted this before in another thread, but when I was in England with Tony, he told me to try Branston pickle while he was at work one day. I looked in the fridge and saw a jar and when I opened it I thought it was "off" as he says ( out of date due to the color! ) ...lol! I didn't realize that it was meant to be that color!I never tried it while there and never had the nerve to tell him that I thought his food was " off ".

However, since Tony has come here to live, I have since tried it and I love it! Also, I found out that it was meant to be that color! We went through a jar in a week!

Also, I love Jaffa cakes, chocolate digestives, Indian food, Ribena! I could go on...

Branston Pickle luckily is pretty easy to get in the USA, despite nobody having heard of it. Everywhere I live has had Branston Pickle in the supermarket, although recent it changed from being imported from the UK, to being made in the USA. Luckily, although the USA version is different, its still good (unlike, for example, USA HP sauce).

My wife recently discovered Ribena and is addicted to it, shame because it's effing expensive here! :)
