I know it isn't for her own wedding, but her reply said that her other option was to "get married on Monday" and send her paperwork in overnight, which makes it sound like she is not married or ready to apply for AOS at this time.

Correct, i am not yet married... :) thank you for your help with your response!

Timeline

If you click on the "Processing Times" link at the top of the page, you will get a page with links to the stated processing times for various documents of the various USCIS Service Centers, and a link to the average processing times for various documents as derived from the timelines of visajourney members.

The National Benefits Center, which as far as I know processes all AP documents, are saying that their stated timeline for processing AP documents is 3 months. That means that it will almost certainly come quicker than that, and that they won't even start looking at why it's been taking so long until 3 months have passed.

The link here: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/apstats.php seems to show that AP documents average 50-70 days, depending on the time of year.

Regarding vaccinations, unless you have a check mark in the "Complete" column for every vaccine, I would have it transcribed to an I-693, especially if you can find a civil surgeon in the are who will do it for a reasonable price. It's a roll of the dice otherwise - sometimes just sending the DS form works, sometimes you get an RFE and need to have it transcribed anyways. An RFE isn't the end of the world, but does delay processing on all aspects of your case, including the AP documents, so in your case, since you want to minimize any chance of delays, I would get it transcribed.

DON'T PANIC

Thank you so much for you response! It has made me "stress less" a bit...

Is there a place on VJ where i can see how fast (or slow) the AOS / EAD / AP processes are taking by any chance?

If you click the "timelines" link you can see what the timeline is like for other people filing in your area. I also found that just searching this forum for my home office netted me lots of results of other people talking about how fast/slow the processing was going! Good luck! :)
