Hi Everyone,

I desperately need some help guys. :crying: I really need your advice, suggestion or anything you can say about my problem. Its very much appreciated guys.My Husband file a CR1 at Vermont last October 2010 we got our NOA1 on 27th of October also a few days after we file our CR1.We're so much excited to see each other again after a year of living far from each other as husband & wife.

On April 4,2010 we received our RFE & we sent our documents to comply the RFE last April 25,2010.As I check my case status at uscis they said that they received it May 4,2010(But thats not yet my problem)So we're expecting to have our noa2 or the decision after 14days from the date they received it. My problem now is we almost hit our 7th month waiting for our noa2 & 19days from the date they received our RFE. Everytime we call the uscis they just tell us that our case is on-the-process that's all.I can't sleep at night thinking of what was happening to our case.Husband & I often had arguments because we both depress thinking to the status of our case.

So now I end up deciding to ask help to their congressman.Husband isn't familiar to their congressman he's living at 202 hollis NY.Anybody knows who is their congressman there? Please I need your help guys. And wait guys can u give me some draft on how to make a proper letter for them??

Thanks a million in advance guys!! :help:

Go to the House of Representatives website and scroll down to where it says "Find Your Representative" and enter the zip code of where your husband lives. 202 Hollis NY is insufficient information to determine who the Representative is.

Also, it will have to be your husband who contacts the office, since you are not a resident in the district, they will not respond to you.

Contacting one of the Senators for the State of NY is also an option. The Senators for NY are Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand. Again, must be a resident of the State in order for them to respond.

The fact that you got the RFE shows you they are working on the case. It can take from two weeks to two months to have the RFE reviewed & the case approved. You should be close to that now. USCIS can not & will not tell you anymore about the case because its in the hands of the officer now.

The USC can find the Congressman or Senators web site easily. They all have a form to download that allows them to begin to help? with the case. Once the form is sent you can expect to wait about a month to hear from them. They will tell you the case is under review. The only value in contacting them is to allow you to feel you have done all you could do. Take note that the USC doesnt even know who they are or how to request help. We dont care until we need them. They dont care because we dont vote for them based on their voting record on immigration issues. My husband found them to be useless.

Believe me I know how you feel. My own case took 408 days. It is tough to go thru this seemingly endless journey but its almost over for you & you will soon have what you want. Think of the many that have gone thru this very thing & succeeded just as you will.

Hi Ning! Thanks for your response :) Yea,the moment we received our RFE was kinda relief for me coz it just show that they are looking & working to our case.Im happy that theres a lot of people here who can understand how a wife like me feels to live far from her husband. We both miss each other and we often had an arguments because Im always asking about our petition and hes getting mad coz he cant do anything. For this situation, we just take any possibly ways for the improvement of our petition even if it looks impossible lolzz..We last saw each other december 28,2009 and he cant go here coz of work & thats reason also why we want to take any other ways. But our communication through online is constant although we always do chatting on YM,SKYPE and even calling me on phone almost every hour of our day :) isnt enough.I hope God makes this journey smooth for us..Thanks a lot Ning,it makes me feel better. And we'll still try to wrote a letter to their congressman..Godbless Ning!
