oops...

My favorite Republican just got pwned big time.

You know what's really fun about that chart?

Look at where the lowest prices in KC have been in the past 3 years.

They hit $1.29/gallon in Nov 2008, when Obama was being elected our 44th President.

And it was in the $1.70s when he was being inaugurated in Jan 2009.

BTW, same kcgasprices.com shows Kansas City KS having peak of $3.96 in '08, $3.71 today. Still cheaper today than then, and definitely not a $1 differential in favor of 08 as claimed by Charles. Selective memory? :innocent:

they are almost a buck higher a gallon than they were under bush. where have you been?

Actually I was paying well over $4.00 per gallon in June 2008 and now paying around 30 to 40 cents less so unless less is more, gas prices are not higher now than they were then, and obviously not a buck a gallon more now. For the record I didn't blame Bush back then either, I blamed speculators and the industry itself, just as I do now.

Here in Washington State we get the high product price + one of the highest in the nation State gas taxes. I can't say for sure but I believe the highest I paid in 2008 was $4.35 a gallon. That hurt! The high now was $3.95 and that sucked too of course. Currently we are around $3.89 and slowly dropping...

Gas was up around $4/gallon here the past couple weeks. What we heard was, "The die was cast under the last administration" and "we're all going to have to deal with it" etc.

Well, now it's back down to $3.50 or so and I'm not hearing "the previous administration" anything. In fact, we're probably going to hear a lot more, "I", "I", "I" and "me", "me", "me" as soon as he gets home from kissing the Europeans' collective asses. "I have, uh, worked very hard, uh, to um, uh, tirelessly promote the cause of the uh, American, uh, people to the rest of the world and uh, they aksed asked me while I was in Europe if I could do something about the uh, price of gasoline, uh, in America. I, uh, undeterred by the price of gas, uh, in the rest of the um, world, uh, have decided to outline a new plan. A plan that will restore hope to the uh, poor uh, working class um, American families, who um, voted for my administration to bring about the change that um, the last uh, administration could not, would not, and uh, just didn't want to. I will."
